Julie Whyman

Julie is an established artist, based in the Waikato region of New Zealand.
Julie enjoys working with a variety of tools, mediums and techniques, especially acrylic and pastel. She first picked up a brush after having children and through practice and exploration, Julie has discovered her natural ability for painting. She is attracted to vibrant colour and form found in nature, and her paintings are a colourful, beautiful expression of her own style. She is inspired by her natural surroundings, and the interrelationship of nature and people.
