Lee Robinson

Largely self-taught, I have been developing my painting practice for over 25 years. I exhibit regularly and have completed many commissions. My paintings are held in private and public collections in NZ, Australia, Canada and Europe.

Acrylic is my preferred medium and I enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects in a contemporary, realistic style. From landscapes and figurative work to portraits, I love to create works that celebrate our beautiful country, home environment and people. Still Life is a firm favourite and my hope is that I can highlight the beauty of familiar and unremarkable objects that can be easily overlooked.
