Antiqued dark recesses; shiny hammered or matt surfaces; the sublities of silver combined with the warm of copper and gold... Nic relishes the endless potential and challenge of creating miniature artworks in metals, while a sparkling gem or found treasure may add to the colour and texture and even be the inspiration of a piece.

Nic's unique use of motifs, symbols and icons - often sourced from Pacific and Maori influences - reflect her sense of belonging to Aotearoa while other designs may have a sense of fun and/or lyrical commentary in the mix.
