The Te Wheku Light by Moana Road in collaboration with Hermann Salzmann.

Beautifully designed desk lamp by master carver and artist Herman Salzmann (Ngati Toa Rangatira).

Inspired by the legend of Maui-potiki capturing the sun to extend the light of the day, let Te Wheku o Maui or the face of Maui light up your home.

Herman Salzmann is based in Pukerua Bay, Porirua. He has devoted himself to the art of Maori carving for the past 10 years.

His work is displayed at Te Papa Marae, Porirua Court Room, NZ Police Museum, Writers Guild, Porirua City Council and Sister City Blacktown.
